Basic Internet Security Tips on How To Clear Cookies For Mozilla Firefox

Real-life cookies are indeed delicious, but although cookies in your internet browser are frequently useful and, often, necessary, they need to be cleared regularly. Especially after you’ve made an online purchase or transaction and even more so, if it was on a shared computer.

The reason for clearing browser cookies on occasion, is to prevent malicious websites and spyware from using them to compromise your online privacy and internet security.

Please note that cookies in themselves are not spyware – but they are vulnerable to threats by spyware and unscrupulous companies.

In Mozilla Firefox, you can either remove all or selected cookies as is shown in the screencast below.
