Firefox questions

How could I set mozilla firefox to remember the website I’m on when I close it?

For example. I opened firefox and started adding tabs and browsing. When I close the mozilla (top right x), then I opened it again, the tabs are still there and the website that I just visited when i closed it automatically loads.

I know it can be done because my other computer last time did this.
Help pls.

  1. Right click on the site>Bookmark this page>Folder:Bookmark Toolbar

  2. Cool. Just open your Firefox, then on the Menu Bar on top, click on TOOLS and choose OPTIONS at the very bottom of the list. It should open the Options window on top of your browser. Now click the GENERAL tab (the first one) and just right below it you will see STARTUP then WHEN FIREFOX STARTS with a drop-down list to its right. There you will choose SHOW MY WINDOWS AND TABS FROM LAST TIME and press OK on the bottom part.

Just in case you can’t see the Menu Bar on top of your browser, just press the ALT button on your keyboard once.

  4. Restoring last session in firefox is what you want…

Firefox users know that one of most useful features of Firefox is its ability to restore the last session, by opening all the tabs, which were open when your system crashed and you lost the track. But this happens only if your system halted on its own. If you yourself exit Firefox, then the firefox will start from its home page. But you can change this setting easily so that even if you exit firefox manually, it will open all the tabs next time, which were open when your pressed the Close button.

Click on Tools menu > options.
    Click on the Main tab.
Change the setting in “When Firefox Starts” field to “Show my windows and tabs from last time”.
    Save your settings.

This feature of firefox is really useful. You know small things do wonders to add your browsing experience.
